Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and go to the Procceses tab.
Scroll down until you see Firefox.exe, and end it.

Ctrl+Shift+Esc - Firefox.exe - end process.
Although, restarting should've fixed a dead process..

I'm not sure, all other programs / browsers working fine?

Restart your computer. After it restarts, don't try to start Firefox.
Open the profile folder.
Delete the lock file parent.lock

If that doesn't work, try some of the other tips here

Profile folder should be in Application Data, which is hidden.
