I'm using a wired connection that never really fails (i can always open webpages) But for some reason i'lll disconnect from programs like AIM and ms after 10 minutes afk (a real pain in the ass for AIM). My net is still working but i just get kicked from the programs.

Does anyone know why? I could understand it on a wireless connection but i bought a cable so this WOULDNT happen.

Mine dose this aswell, and multiple other issues, but it may be something with your phone lines or modem that causes your internet to be unsteady and go unresponsive at times.

Happens to me occasionally, a reset of my router always fixes it for the next few days at least.
