Cheat Engine

Hi, sorry for asking a question being a newfag, but I had these hacks for something, which after a half hour of useing them severly crashed my computer. When i turned it back on i deleted them. Everything in the file is gone, but for some reason the file refuses to be deleted. It's a file in a file with nothing in either 1, but it says it can't be deleted because its already open, I've tryed restarting and opening it b4 i do anything but it wont work

Any suggestions?

It may be a file that opens on start-up.

Go to run and type in 'msconfig' then click on the Start Up tab. Find the application in the list, and uncheck it. Restart when prompted and attempt to delete it then.

Nope, It's not in startup, would the link to the file download help?

It can delete almost anything.

Thats the problem, there are no files, just 2 folders, if it were files i'd just use file assassin. I scanned the unextracted file on virus total a min ago and a few scanners said there was a suspicious file.

EDIT: i meant to say folder in my first post, sorry

Thanks compact it worked, I accidently did'nt install the full thing on my first try, only to find out when i tried to reinstall, "unlocker" gave me the same problem. Ironic lol, i got it though, thanks alot :] once i can rep, its yours.

Just for future reference, you can just boot into safe mode to delete the file. Only important system services are ran in safe mode, so the likelyhood is that the file would never be accessed.
