The normal one is better as it is more "stylish" and not so ricer-ish.

The normal one can accommodate one more fan (not that you will need 7 fans). And it's cheaper.

I'm not a fan of windows really, they look cool at first, but I think that a simple case has more style to it. It sort of portrays a not-trying-too-hard look. Also, it's cheaper, so it's another plus. I say go for the second.

I currently have the CM690 on my media Center PC and it is awesome...
I'd personally go for the CM690 over the NV 690...

Since the damn page will not load for me...
I'm more of a GUI kind of person, I like the look and extendability. A couple of fans would help. CPU blew out because one of my computers got so damn hot.

I rather choose the Cooler Master RC-840
because it can install more fans and more rooms to add more components

Yes but it doesn't have the sexiness of the RC/CM 690. You have to see it to realize it's true beauty....

The only reason im going to upgrade is because i don't know if my computer case can handle a 4870.
http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/3342-xion-dazl-case-review.html
Intake: 120MM 1200 rpm, 80MM ???? rpm
exhaust:120MM(powersupply), 80mm ???? rpm
AMD 5400+ Overclocked to 3.08Ghz Stable at 40
I think thats alright but i don't know because the 120mm fan has stripped screws >.< and won't come out T.T'

The length of a HD4870 is about the size of a full size ATX board.
As for cases the two you picked are decent.
Anyway how about this?

A little over my budget of $120 Canadian
Also i might stick with my case if i can make some custom holes
Sadly i'm running on M-ATX but i know the length of a ATX.
Edit: SF warning: >.>

it doesn't matter with the outside, its the inside because it cools it
