windows 7 makes it easier to install raids. =)
At the window when you select partions you can press a button to install drivers from elsewhere like flopp or external hdd or even a cd!!
I totally love the os so far. Also the installation runs smoother than any other m$ os.

I would get it, like right now.
But my tiny HD is only 37gb (I are getting a 250gb or 1tb one soon I hope) so I don't know if I could install all good.
And I don't have a DVD drive.

You don't have to have a DVD Drive. I installed mine by mounting the ISO with PowerISO and installing like that. And W7 on takes up 16g. |
32-bit on my computer takes about 10gb. not too sure about x64 though.

All comes down to how much crap you've got.
I would prefer keeping things simple with XP, especially with the question of size.

do you have an external drive or disk?

It's true that xp is alot faster but that doesn't mean it's better. It actually feels old now when I use vista and w7 every day! I can't many features in xp. It's just feels too plain and simple. :/
