|

Well i had this fucking problem for the last month, which it would freeze in a random time and i would have to restart the computer. The only way i can play hours is if I go in safe mode.
I am tired of this bullshit, so how would i be able to play Moople in safe mode?
Oh and I will totally +rep you if you do find a way

Moople uses a bunch of shit you need (I don't play it, so I am assuming DirectX, all that shit), which safe mode doesn't load.
And if you want to fix the problem:
Do you have any restore points?
Is it hardware related?
Has it happened before, ever? Before last month?

Safe Mode doesn't full load the graphics driver, so you'd get a low resolution,16 colors, and the game would look so shitty. I'd try vmware and play the game on there to see if that fixes the problem.

You can't play it in safe mode due to it loading a generic video driver that doesn't support 3D acceleration.

do a system restore in safe mode or reinstall windows and make a backup? Hard?
Most backup programs lets u make a bootable rescue cd/dvd/hdd that can restore the os and installed programs and drivers.
Also a computer is less likely to freeze more than one core so if possible get a dual/tripple/quad core.

I agree, simply backup everything and format windows... Solve your problem...

That is not necessarily true... Yes having more cores makes the system faster and less ow load times etc.
But the freezing/crashing isn't due to the CPU being a single core...
Are you saying before the Core 2 series and before any dual cores, when the Pentium4 was the best, that Windows crashed a lot?

Yes. When my single core p4 froze the whole computer froze. When my first dual core froze the computer remained stable. And you know what I mean with stable.. |
I still remember my old Intel P4 2.66GHzm, 512MB DDR Ram, 80GB HDD, Geforce MX 440 PC...
Yes of course that hardware is the biggest garbage compared to the latest technologies of this time, but during it's "birth" it was an extremely good PC costing $1600 AUD... It was running Windows XP, and I had never seen it freeze/crash at all.
You can't blame personal computers instabilities on the processor when it may be a virus/driver issue/ hardware overheating etc...

Because of the same reason: Safe mode doesn't need 3D graphics, thus it will not load it.

Jun just take your cheap ass to a tech shop to get it fixed like I told you before or try to fix it by reformatting.
Safe mode isn't meant to be used as the primary mode.
