Note: I already know the solution, however, this problem is recurring randomly and I don't know why.

My DNS has messed up before, and I found a solution to this, but later my wireless connection stopped working with the error, "limited or no connectivity" and assigned the IP 169.254.x.x, which is not within my router's range. I tried many things and eventually found a fix, but this problem still comes back every now and then.

The fix I am using is this:

hmm my hp laptop does this, also are you on wireless.

try removing your self from the network and rejoining completly also i remember you compactwater

PS: this happens when the computers DHCP requests an ip that may have allready been on the network before and is sitting in the cache.

try setting a static ip that has not been used before
