hi

i've been having some problems and i'm not sure whether it's my graphics card that is causing it or something else.. wondering if any of you ever experienced anything like this

what happens is when i right-click and a popup menu comes up.. sometimes the option i select will just.. stay on the freaking screen. it's freaking annoying. as far as i know there is no good way to get rid of it after it is there. i tried refreshing everything, no luck. you can log off but it comes back after some time. weirdly sometimes it doesn't even happen, sometimes it does. the best way i found of getting rid of it so far is to disable one of my screens and re-enable it. but that is a good waste of 10 seconds

i put up some of my computer's specs and dxdiag info in case you are able to tell anything from that..

btw if you can't see it, i put one of my programs 'over' ( under ) the little bug thing ( the bug is seen drawn over the system menu of the app in this case ). this one appeared this time when i was coding but it happens all the time even if i am right-clicking task bar at bottom of screen to close an app or something.. then the close stays there instead. there is no way of covering the bug thing up. only time i have seen it covered up is when i was playing a full screen game..

halllpppp it's fuck off annoying. i even reformatted recently hoping to get rid of it. this is almost a clean install of server 2008 sp2

i am actually guessing it is the gfx card but it would be great if someone has a solution for this that does not require buying a new one.. this one does more than fine for me since i very very rarely play games so don't wanna waste money getting a better one

uhm... the DirectX 10 installation you have, is a legit one or a repacked one?
I'm not sure if your videocard supports directX10
