Well, we've (Me and my parents) got a modem, which 2 pc's are connected on. Is there something you can plug in to a port in the modem so we have wireless internet in like a 10m radius?
Cause I really want wireless internet on my psp and no one near my house has it without a password on it, so I cant go on theirs >_>

| If you're just looking for the cheapest option, it might make more sense to go with an ad hoc wireless network. Here.

| You would need to buy a wireless adapter for any computer connected to the internet. The instructions walk you through how to set up the ad hoc network on the computer, and you would connect to the network from your PSP similarly to a conventional wireless network, as far as I know.

So if I'd buy a wireless adapter like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124350 , it should work, right?
And does it work on win7?
And it will only work when the pc is on, right?
If so, I think ill just get a router >_>

That would be something like what you would get but yes, the computer would have to be on. As for Windows 7 compatibility, the driver base is pretty good, but you should check for a Vista driver on the manufacturer's site to make sure.
A super-cheap wireless-g or b/g would probably do the trick, though.

You would have to have your modem connected to a Wireless Router. Then connect a Wireless adapter USB such as the one you stated above onto the PC you want wireless...
Then using your PC, search for your wireless internet connection. Type in the password and your connected...

just buy a wireless router that acts as a modem as well. you'll have access to ethernet connection as well and wireless will be all over your house (most likely). you don't need your computer on or anything.
