According to the web...
At launch for new boards used for the lynnfield processors, here are the 3 models at launch.
-All 3 Lynnfield based CPUs will use a new socket (LGA1156) along with
a new chipset (Intel P55), has 8MB cache and TDP of 95w.
-2 of these will be categorizes as Core i7 not Core i5.
-To prevent buyers from confusing themselves, the Lynnfield based Core i7 uses the 800 series (current Core i7 uses the 900 series for their modeling).
The Lynnfield set as Core i5 will start as 700 series.
-Core i7 (Lynnfield) will support HT making a quad have 8 threads.
-Core i5 (Lynnfield) have HT disable and hardware virtualization will not be present.
-Frequency ranges are 2.66GHz for the Core i5
and 2.8-2.93 for the Core i7 but TurboBoost will help clock it to 3.6GHz*
*Highest Core i7 (Lynnfield), the 2.8 clocked will get a lower TurboBoost clock speed.

According to the net, some say will be cheaper than the Core i7 and the
boards for the lynnfield should start out in the low hundreds and range up from there depending what mobo makes can come up with.
Here is a preview of what is capable of, though the cpu they got is in the early stages. In other words it's not marinated yet so what you see isn't its true performance.
