Heres the problem
My windows live messenger freezes in the taskbar or even if the window is open
This happens alot and is VERY ANNOYING
and i have to end the process and start it again and it will repeat that again
Here is what I have tried
-Uninstallation + Reinstallation
-Uninstallation WITH registry entries deletion for a permanent remove + Installation
- Updating to the latest
I have a Quad Core, 3GB, Windows Vista, everything else runs fine
but I do not know what is up with this
Any Help would be great
Thanks in Advance

I suggest removing windows live and using pidgin or miranda, they support bunch of messengers, windows live too.

Here people are talking about windows messenger which has nothing to do with this
as i want windows live messenger
i'd rather use the original live messenger if this problem can be fixed

That's correct as to why I asked did the OP removed windows messenger.
In the old days before Windows Messenger became Windows "Live" Messenger it was simply called Windows Messenger.
Most people don't know it and went on to download and install it anyway. and now they have two.
Windows Messenger pre-installed by the OS itself will not be listed in the add/remove program list thus the other post directly to OP "you sure about that"?

My mistake, notice you got Vista and it's not pre-installed with it so I guess that won't be the culprit for your problem.
If it we're XP then the build in messenger will be in Add/Remove Windows Components.
Vista has something called Windows meeting space, but I doubt that's causing it.
Use Revo uninstaller (select option 4) and remove wlm with its registry entries, restart, download wlm, install, and try again.
