i reinstalled windows XP and now im get a a black screen with a blinking cursor how can i fix this

Reinstall it again with an untouched copy and don't bother the forum with stupid questions.

WTF Why is there so many new noobs in this forum with less then 50 posts???
K. Lamer, if your not going to flame then GTFO...
Where did he say any kind of stupid question? He said he has a problem with a black screen and a blinking cursor, how can I fix this? This is not a stupid question, someone is in need of help without any disrespect from a noob...

Though I do agree with a re-reformat may fix it...
