ok so my parents are redecorating the floor so we had to move the comp twice so than afteer we are fishished moving i decided to get back on so i can enjoy soem games for a hour or so but everytime i try to turn on the monitor it wont even make a flash on the circley thingy and im posting from my sis laptop if u guys are like wth how are u posting than .
i checked for loose cables and shit but all i see is 1 but its attached to the monitor plug thing and i cant find where to plug it in if u need a pic tell me or anymore information k.

If the monitor doesn't even turn on then there's probably no power to it.
Did you plug in the power cable? (Might sound stupid but it does happen)
If it is plugged in perhaps try wiggling the power cable in the back.
Or your DVI cable might not be plugged in, or loose, sometimes monitors tend to not even turn on if there's not a connection to something for the monitor to display.
If all fail, just get a new power cable, they're universal and not hard to find at all. Cheap too.
Also, please post a pic of all the plugs inputs/outputs on your monitor and the back of your pc.
