I have a Vista installation disc which I have already used. Will it work on another computer like it will get updates and stuff?

can... but don't use it many times like reformatting or installing the windows vista
if you use many times, u need to make a phone call to renew it again

You can use it, but after too many uses, I believe the license is no longer valid and therefore maybe illegal. But yes, you can use the disk over and over again.

From what I remember, you can register the CD key to 3 different PCs before microsoft starts nagging you to get another key.
(At least that's how it was for my XP OEM CD)
