C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profile.default
I believe it stores the passwords in key3.db and signons3.txt, the passwords are encrypted in TDES, I think i have a program lying around that takes both those files and decrypts the password.

If you would like to find out all of your passwords without going through files and decrypting files, you can:
1. Start Mozilla Firefox
2. Tools>Options...
3. Security Tab> Saved Passwords... You can now see Usernames of which website. To view password push Show Passwords...
There are all the Usernames, Passwords of websites saved...

Yes they should be, copy them to another computer and test it just to be sure.

Then use LastPass...
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8542
LastPass is a free online password manager and Form Filler that makes your web browsing easier and more secure. LastPass supports IE and Firefox as Plugins (Opera, Safari, Chrome, iPhone, Opera Mini via Bookmarklets), allows you to import from every major password storage vendor and export too, captures passwords that other managers won't including many AJAX forms, and allows you to make strong passwords easily. Your sensitive data is encrypted _locally_ before upload so even LastPass cannot get access to it. One Time Passwords & Screen Keyboard help protect your master password.
Basically it if 2 computers have the addon, yuo can syncronise passwords and bookmarks and history etc between them, no need for searching files and copying them and using USB to replace them somewhere else constantly...
