When reinstalling, try deleting the registry with it also.

Go to Start > Find Run > Type "Regedit" > Find HKEY Current User > Software > Find anything related to MSN Live Messenger, which I don't know the registry, but I think it's this directory.
Quote: | HKEY Current User > Software > Microsoft > Go find MSN Messenger, then delete it |
And I think that's it, but not sure what else registry it has, then try reinstalling it again.

Uninstall, Clean registery, scan with an anti virus,
Download superantispyware << Sounds fake looks fake, Gets the job done damn well.
Once the scan is complete if nothing is found, im considered useless.
