I'm deciding between ZoneAlarm or Online Armor. My friend recommended Online Armor because it only tells you what you need to know. You can post some other firewalls too.

@OP: COMODO firewall is a good free firewall that works.

Free? I'd go with Comodo followed by ZoneAlarm (Only two I've used)
Willing to pay? I'd get ESET Smart Security.

Yeah, if you want free I would totally recommend Comodo since it's really good, imo.
If you can get a pay one, either get ZoneAlarm or ESET Smart Security.

Zonealarm blows, just my opinion. My ISP provides it free although I tend to find that scans are slow, uses too much resources and asks you about almost everything you do (well I think there's a setting for this one).
I've heard some good things about comodo.
