I am getting a new computer in November. I have been saving up for quite a while, and with about 1100 dollars and I'm probably going to get a Macbook Air. I was just wondering if you guys had any other suggestions.

Oh lawd. The macbook air has to be the most over-hyped, over-priced laptop ever created. Do not want.

That said, wait until November before the question's brought up. It's hard to say what'll have been released at that point, given how quickly the computer market changes. What's a good deal for $1100 now might be only worth half that in 4-5 months.
