I am using onscreen keyboard to type this. Yesterday, when I was looking for random stuff on Google my keyboard became unresponsive. At first it was sometimes worked so I turned off the computer. This morning it didn't work at all! I tried to restore the computer but it didn't work.

I uninstalled the keyboard from device manager and uninstalled the software. Restarted the computer and it was detected and working but asked me to install drivers so I did but then the keyboard stopped working again so I installed from the CD that came with the keyboard. It still didn't work.

I uninstalled and unplugged. Then restarted and plugged it in. It got power (office lock light is on) but nothing else works. The keyboard isn't even detected anymore! I cannot enter safe mode since it won't even wok at start.

It is a PS/2 Plug & Play keyboard.
Windows XP SP3 Home.
512MB RAM

Thanks in advance!

All I could think of is that your keyboard has had it.
Can you even enter the BIOS with that keyboard?

Well I found out that it is because the connector is worn out. Sometimes it works so I guess I need a new one.
