I'm having trouble installing Far Cry on my laptop. I can "play" some of it unofficially, having copied the Ubisoft directory from another computer. But I need to be fully installed, and I get the "Use setup32.exe for 32-bit OS, and setup64.exe for 64 bit OS!" error. Setup64.exe is NOT included with it. Also, unless I haven't looked hard enough, I can't find the file available for download anywhere. Anyone know how I can install it?

Either get it illegally or go buy it.

I'm USING the disks! When I tell it to install, I get a popup with the error message:
"Use setup32.exe for 32-bit OS, and setup64.exe for 64 bit OS!"
And there IS no setup64.exe on the disk!

Maybe try out free windows 7 32-bit? Very Happy

Like I said, I was able to get it working somewhat, (DESPITE being 64-bit!) but it's not technically "installed". I was able to play some of the actual game, but I can't use it to its full extent.

Come on...I really want to play it; my brother has it on HIS computer and it looks awesome. There must be SOME way to get it work on Vista 64-bit.

like I posted in the other thread.

install on another computer.
copy directory over
install all patches
install 64 bit amd patch
play
