What a hot sunny day it was. Decided to brush the dust off of my camera and take it for a quick whizz around the garden, along the way I found a very helpful and patient dragonfly, and uncooperative bee who liked to show me his bum and two rather raunchy dragonflys who wouldn't stay still.

Nice, but you need to remember that you can't always put your subject in the centre of the picture.

When you're working with a dragonfly, you don't have the time to correct the aperture, shutter speed, focus and then move the focal point around for a bit. You barely have time to fix the shutter speed and aperture let alone focus, before it's moved.
