Model # Toshiba MK1031GAS

Is that a P-ATA connection? I'm guessing I'll need to find an IDE to PATA adapter in order to attach it to my computer?

Yeah, but what the hell does that mean?

I need to go out and find an adapter for this damn thing tomorrow... That or get this damn thing to boot from the CD, which it doesn't feel like doing for whatever reason.

You don't need an adapter if your laptop supports IDE hard drives.

I was not asking if I needed an adapter, I was asking if it HAD an adapter on it now.

I got my answer though, and the answer is yes, it had one on it.
