heres the problem, my comp is sometimes making a louder noise than ussual. Its only when i play games or scan w/ anti virus. I didint have this problem b4 and same games as now worked w/ no porblem. I checked the task menager while the comp was making noise and the cpu usage was in 30%s(normal for games). After i minimalize the game, the noise stops. Im suspecting that it might be the harddrive since its only while loading/checking data. What do u think about it??

Go to BIOS and change the setting of performance to (Quieter).
You can make it less so that the sound will be less, however I'm not sure if your bios would have this option.

-uh didint rly test whats rly making the noise(gonna do it later today, didint hav time to take a look inside) but i dont think its the fans cuz they woulding stop right away if i minimalized the game(temp wouldint drop so quick for em to stop)
-i dont want to change stuff in bios(could affect the preformance of comp), i wanted to fix it so it does not do that at all
any reccomendations for a new Harddrive?

Another user that's afraid to go in the BIOS . Just go into the BIOS and go under your PC health tab or whatever your temp/fan control tab is called and check the temps. Changing the fan speed to a minimal isn't really that good considering your CPU will most likely run hotter.
Anyways it's most likely your fans / hard drive, although my gut feeling says it's your fans.
So, open it up, see if there's anything such as dust in fans. If so, use something that shoots air ( some vacuums can reverse to shoot air out, instead of sucking stuff in )
My recommendation for a hard drive is the Caviar Black, which is pretty fast, comes in large volumes and from what I remember it wasn't too loud.
Although if you want complete silence, go for the Caviar Green. It's supposed to be eco-friendly and silent, although the performance isn't as great as the black caviar.

It's most likely the harddrive. Mine does the same thing when I'm doing much of anything major (especially if I'm using a lot of my page file)
