How much do you have to spend?
What country?
Any specific store?
nVidia/ATi preferences?
PCI-E x16 2.0?
Do you have any PCI Express power available from power supply?

Im and Nvidia person as well so Id pick the GTX 260, but then again the 4870 has GDDR5 memory. Its really up to you.

I suggest getting GTS 250 Its just as powerful as the cards you wanted, but these are smaller so more room and i think they perform a little better, also they are cheaper.

The GTS 250 is nothing more than a re-branded 9800GTX+.
