Recently, I have made a new program, I call Gazelle. Gazelle is called "Gazelle" because a Gazelle is a very fast animal, and since my program is fast, that is what I called it.

As of now, I am not sure what file types our supporting when uploading files to CEF. So, I will be giving a link to download he program.

*(MODS)*, If I can't post this link, please remove ASAP.

Gazelle Lite has a few features such as making a document, and surfing the internet. It is still in development and I would like a few testers.

The download link is below. Yes, this was made by me in VB 6.0 Enterprise Edition.

Download : http://www.plunder.com/-download-5a7dff803c.htm

I thank you for your support in testing. Please post if you have any problems, and I would tell you to post them on my forum, but that is against the rules.

I thank you again, and please let me know what you think.

It takes around 15 seconds to start. That isnt fast

Wink

It didnt work on this pc but im assuming it uses the pre built VB browser which is slow as well.

I can most likely remove the Error Checking.
Thanks for you suggestion.

Anything else?

I love all your fake load screens / error checking BS.

The 'web browser' is just IE.

The word document thing makes it go up in flames since you didn't include the ocx file.

I will test it later. Hope it's good.

Though, from the posts above I don't think anyone is going to use it.

i'm with slovach, i don't get all those loading screens, especially for the form with just a webbrowser control and dodge buttons. and i get a runtime error with the document thing (which is probably where you would actually put an errorhandler... Rolling Eyes) because of the missing ocx file. but don't take it is a put-down, just constructive criticism. Wink

It's good for a first, or a single user project.

All the screens are too bright though.

I too agree with slovach...
It just uses IE...
You haven't really made your OWN web browser.
Instead incorporated the IE control and added your own buttons..

It's good if your a beginner...
But I wouldn't release it...

Who ever is looking for a Browser try Firefox, Opera, Chrome...
Those are professionally made browsers, not using the IE control..

Sorry for being negative in my original post, its great your being creative and productive, but to be honest, Visual basic is like the paint of picture editors.

A tip. Error handlers usually occur when the code you write does not get done, therefore you have like an on(fail){, you shouldn't really check on the splash screen. As it does not give me the error of a missing ocx file(microsoft does this anyway.)

PS: Dont try and sell this. Im sure it is a great tool for older/computer illiterate people, but theyre unlikely to have paypal Wink
