I am going to buy a wireless card

but i usually buy USB's

are the wireless cards any good?
If i am correct they fit in a PCI slot ?

Are they better ?

For example

This is the Card
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX14362(ME).aspx

This is the USB Card
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX8318(ME).aspx

It says 4x faster for the Card

suggestions??

If your running a Desktop PC, why not use an Ethernet cable...
Cheaper, faster...
Only cons are transporting the computer is a bit annoying but it isn't a laptop... You will only ever move your desktop every like year or so....

Gets a bit messy if your modem/router is at one end of the house and your desktop is at the other.
I personally recommend the D-link 108G DWA-520.

PCI! dear lord. I will explain.

My mother uses a USB one for her laptop. She gets 12mbp. RIGHT BY THE MODEM.

I myself use a nice netgear card/antenna and i get nearly 60MBPS and im across the house
