The larger white rectangles on either side should flip outwards from the top to allow the memory's replacement. Once you flip them out and have the DIMM (stick, whatever) positioned correctly, just push it down into the slot until the white parts are pushed inwards again, so as to lock the RAM in place by the little notches on either side of the memory.
Kind of hard to say it right, and I'm not as good in Paint as you, but it should be easy to find videos of what I was trying to describe on the web.

I got it in at one side now, but the other side is too high, I can't get it in. Attachment.
EDIT:
NVM, got it. Was too gentle and had to push harder.

Looks like your ram is probably screwed up with you playing around with it.
Remove the ram stick you just installed and if there is another piece still in there (has not been touched). Turn on the system to see if it works. If beep still appears then your in deep doo doo.
BTW, does the beep sound like?

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Placing another stick of RAM in.
EDIT:
I get the same with the other stick. But I haven't touched that one... It has to be something else.
EDIT 2:
I removed my RAM, so I booted up with no RAM sticks. I had the same beeps. Maybe it's helpful.

When there is no ram on the board, that is the beep noise it will make.
Try a different slot and if that does not work it's either you have
fried your mobo or your rams are busted.

I tried both slots. What's a mobo?
EDIT:
Going to sleep, 5 AM. Will check back tomorrow. (8 hours from now)

My mobo beeps every time I turn it on, with my particular model it tells me that everything is connected correctly.
Yours may have a similar feature, and you might have something not quite right.

Motherboards beep when there is a problem, you must search your Motherboard model on Google or it's manufacturers website.
Yes it is true that some Motherboards beep on boot up but he isn't actually getting to the boot screen...

No one posted that he might of put the wrong speed in? He didn't even know what mobo meant he shouldn't even be turning a computer on.

It's normal, back in the day that's how they knew things were going smoothly. I think my old hard drives used to beep/make a sound.
I think unplugging the speaker on your motherboard might help? It looks like a cylinder with two wires coming out of it.
