|
|
Okay so heres the thing, I just ordered my computer parts
Im going to build it but Im wondering if there are any VIDEO guides that tell you in depth what to do
Like I know very well what to do, In Computer class we took apart a computer and put it back together but not compeletly as the MOBO was already screwed on and the button wiring, LED was already there
So if there are any guides that are very detailed with a video?
This is my first time building a computer at home but it is fairly easy as I just want to make sure with a guide or two
Thanks in Advance

the youtube videos look great
thank you
I think the most trouble i will have is the stupid case wiring
otherwise everything else is a piece of cake
How important is a static strap?
Is it good to do the build without one?

Yes, if you receive a problem your motherboard will beep on boot at different amounts.
E.G A motherboard may beep 2 times for Memory Failure and 3 Times for CPU Failure...
Static Strap should cost around $10

Is there a full list for the amount of beeps and error
and these failures mean that the items are not in place right?

It varies between motherboards...
Give me your motherboard model and make and I'll look for them...

There aren't any specific beep codes for that motherboard.
Try going through

I recently built my first one, it was really quite easy.
But sure to read through all your manuals.
Put your PSU in first and then your mobo.
Everything else connects into them.
Edit: Actually, put your RAM and core/fan into your mobo before you install it.

The motherboard manual is a great resource for first-time builders and reference, if you have a system-specific question, consult the manual first.

Oh, you mean the pins for HDD activity, power/reset buttons, etc.? Or simple wire management?
