Randomly when I'm on the computer, I go up to around 2GB of page files used (4GB max) and all my programs go to under 10KB and don't respond, any reason why?
Also my computer just completely freezes out of nowhere (it even happened when I just restarted it and plugged in my iPod and froze when iTunes opened)

You need a lot more details.
Type of AV?
Have you even scanned your computer?
Do you even have an AV?
Computer specs?
When has this happened?
How frequently does it happen? (Ie: everyday, once a day, etc)
There's a lot more..
Also, give us an SS of your processes.

I use norton/spy sweeper (don't think spy sweeper is AV)
my computer is clean

for 1st one: every couple days
for 2nd one: multiple times a day... happened 3 times today. It has been happening when I close firefox
by SS of my processes... go to processes under task manager & copy/paste?

That's your problem. I'd personally recommend ZoneAlarm.
