i got AMD 4400+ 2.3ghz on the F690GVM mobo AM2 slot i think. i want to upgrade to a better one....which processor would u guys suggest?
i usually use the comp for gaming. im looking at http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=33378&vpn=HD995ZXAGHBOX&manufacture=AMD its AMD Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition Quad Core Processor clocked at 2.6ghz. im not looking to overclock. ( i thought making a new thread cuz i almost turned the other thread into mine.)

Is that board from Acer?
After checking some info on your board, if that is socket AM2 and not AM2+ then you may not have a change to grab that Phenom x4 since Phenom are mostly not supported on socket AM2.

You may consider on getting yourself a new system with the new 45nm AMD Phenom II X4 955, but that runs on socket AM3.
