Virus or something.
Scan your computer with spybot, find a good free AV.
I recommend AVG.

maybe firefox thinks it is unloved????
nah best to run firefox safe mode so all the add-ons are disabled and see if it continues..... if it is ok in safe mode run normal firefox and disable all of them and try to pin point which add-on is fucking with you. Add-ons are just like installing programs on your PC, don't forget that.

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost

Ok, someone who knows that their doing can check that for you.
What sites is it linking you to?
Do a spybot scan anyway.
Link me to some of the sites you've been redirected to.

If your having problems with it( and just to check to see if it is a virus) please scan and post a "hi-jack this" log in here.

This only means that activate.adobe.com is blocked... Illegal Adobe Products, am I wrong?

Probably is some part of a crack for an Adobe product.
But those addresses aren't necessarily "blocked" just because they're being redirected to the IP for localhost, which is basically the purpose of the hosts file, to provide an IP for an address without looking it up as it normally would be when you type it in to a browser.
As for OP's problem, a HijackThis log would help a lot.
