Hey guys, today I reinstalled windows with a CD my friend let me borrow.
I don't know how but while installing it, it didn't ask for a product key.
But now that I installed it, everytime I open windows it tells me that I have to activate or register windows. Is there any way to go around this?
Here's a picture of what pops up.

It seems you're friend has given you a cracked copy of windows. Since warez is not allowed here, contact me in a pm for more info.

You must be retarded since the pic is just showing a legit version of XP asking for a retail product key.

you need to put in a valid product key... which you should have if you're reinstalling. if you're trying to use it for free, try and find a crack elsewhere (even though it's insanely simple).

I am retarted? what? Why did the "Legit" windows NOT ask for a installation key during his install?

Uh, maybe because you can bypass it on a retail disc?

Use your friend's key, since it's his disc, or try the one that should be on your PC somewhere on a sticker.
Closed for warez.
