Well i recently installed my new heatsink fan, and i put the mother board back in and plugged everything in the right spot(hopefully) and my computer boots on but the screen stays black. I tried 2 different graphics cards and its not the monitor. I think i messed up plugging something in I have a P5N-D and i read the manual that came with it and everything seems to be in the right spot. any ideas?? (By the way if you are wondering how i am posting im using my step dads laptop ) The only things im not sure about are the 1394 and usb cables that go into my mobo, and i didnt plug usb into 1394 hole thing, nethier vice versa.
EDIT: Never mind i figured out the problem

Most likely he reset the graphics card (took it out and put it back in) and checked the power cables.
This has happened to me before.
