I have an HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC in which the laptop charger that was included with it when I bought it from the store, stopped working properly. I realized it started shorting out and would stop charging at random times and I thought it was weird because there has been no damage to it what-so-ever. I am using my friends moms laptop charger that is for dell and it fits perfectly into my computer but that is beside the point. I am still wondering how this could have happened. Did the charger fry? Overheat then fry? Or did some wires come loose or possibly have been snapped or cut somehow?
