i got $500 to spend. im looking a AMD phenom processor and motherboard compatible with it and it have to have dual SLI capability too

Phenom, like Phenom x4? or is Phenom II acceptable?
What are you using them with?

If you have that much to spend, anything AMD is a waste. Phenom's are good when you need a quad on a very low budget, but you could get a decent Intel CPU and board for less than $500.

You could easily get yourself a top-of-the-line Core i7 processor and X58 motherboard with $500. Some of the boards have SLI capability, and some even have both SLI and CrossFire, so you can go red later.
