I want to be able to run L4D and WoW (not at the same time!) at maxed out graphics.

When i went to canyourunit i got a major fail, even on minimum. Rolling Eyes

I dont want to buy a whole new PC, just parts. Price is No object.

What i have now :

Recommended: 2.4 GHz
You Have: 1.99 GHz

Recommended: Core 2 Duo
You Have: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3400+

Recommended: Shader model 3.0, NVidia 7600, ATI X1600 or better
You Have: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series (ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x5954))

RAM - I dont think i need an upgrade, but i have 3.256 GB ram

I was never good at finding parts for PC's.

Rolling Eyes

Buy a Radeon 4750 and you'll run those games maxed out. It's only $100.

3256 Gigabytes of RAM?
I lol'd.
You should take the recommendations, if there's already a path laid out for you, why ask?

WoW and L4D aren't too stressful on the GPU. I have only a single 3870 in my system atm and I was able to max out L4D completely and the frame rate was still smooth as butter.

Well you could get a new processor, but a new video card will help a lot more. A good budget card that I got is from newegg only 89.dollars. It ran Crysis for me at mostly high settings like gamer settings on some stuff but most things on enthusiast.( of course i over clocked a lot though.

Great budget card. for your needs, and good for overclocking too.

I got from 575 core clock to 700 and the memory from 950 to 1150.
