So i have been hearing Rumors about this worm going on..

I have heard it stops you from system restoring?

any more else this virus can do?

why are people freaking out so much?

It is said to already have a thousand computers aligned to attack.

They're freaking out because they're stupid. If you have windows and you have the most updated things, you'll be fine, unless you have it already. But the free scan offered by windows can detect the worm and delete it. No problem, you're done, you're safe.

Just stay away from the internet for a little while if your that scared. But just make sure your all updated and protected or use a mac:P Pretty sure Confiker is only on Windows if I'm not mistaken.

dont worry theres no such thing as a virus that cant be removed sometimes it requires a reinstall though. confiker is most likely going to be used for DoS attacks (denial of service) which is when a bot net floods a certain server/netowrk to bring it down. but ya if ur worried bout it just run linux thats the simplest answer lol.

Once your computer is infected, the master computer that it originated from or w/e has complete control over it... crazy shit.

From what I saw on 60 minutes, 10 million computers are infected with confiker but all i does is wait for and receive further instructions. Also i heard it was set to receive instructions on April first (possibly April fools day attack Shocked
