HD4870 scoring too low on 3dmark vantage?

Hey, so a while ago i bought a 4870 and i wanted to try it to check the benchmarks.

After testing it i got 8k point, and that seems pretty low to me.

My rig is as following:
Intel core 2 duo 8200 Oc to 3.6ghz
2gb ram 800 mhz
512mb 4870 sapphire
1440x900

Some help?

3D Mark Vantage is pretty intensive, so that score should be alright.

Update your video drivers, but synthetic scores does not reflect the true performance of that card, it's only for bragging rights which I find to be real childish.
