Lets say I have two computers.
ComputerX
and
ComputerY
I take the Hard drive out of ComputerX, and put it in ComputerY after removing it's hard drive.
Would ComputerY 'become' ComputerX?
I would also reinstall OS :]

No, just the data on DRIVE X will be in computer Y...
If you have an Operating system on HD X then when you boot you can choose which hard drive to boot from via Bios...

Its 'contents' of the HDD would be the same (OS, documents, etc) but the BIOS may be different depending on your computer's motherboard.

That's what he said, but BIOS will be the same, just list a different hard drive.
I recommend you don't do that unless you go through a guide to switch it in computers. That is, unless the computer has the same hardware (or is the same model). It's just a mess, unless you only want to pull files off it, in which case I recommend a live OS.
