So, today I was messing around with CMD, when suddenly I typed in 'net user sigita password'.So I think I changed the password to my mom`s comp.Anyone knows how to recover the last password that was on the computer?

P.S.I wanted to find out the password but accidentaly changed it.

I don't think you can recover it. :S
You can try system restore but I can't guarantee anything.

Remove the password.
Hopefully when she click's her user she doesn't realize there is no password...
Also if there is only 1 account, make the account auto login on start up via control panel...

Sorry you can't find out her old password...

Frostbyt3 means http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/
This program encrypts user Passwords...
But this is useless at the moment because this doesn't discover previous passwords... This discovers current passwords....

alternatively, mess her account up completely and fake a reinstall. tell her everything was lost from a GPU explosion. please make an account again.

this worked twice for me.

Just say probably a virus got in a changed it or bios glitch.

For my laptop it was a bios programing error (seriously) where a password prompt will pop up even though I never set a password.

Make her password expire at next login, and she'll think it was normal.
