Kaspersky or ESET NOD32/Smart Security if you're paying. Smart Security 4 just came out of beta so it's not free to try anymore. If you're not paying, get Avira maybe.

Then corporate antivirus products are for you. They typically consume less resources than consumer versions (less eye candy etc)
