my computer started to over heat after i took off the thermal compoun about 3 months and i just applied some more but my cpu still beeps when i turn it on and it goes likes this


1.turn on
2.nothing shows on the monitor
3.interval beeping-every 3-4 seconds the cpu beeps for about a 2 second duration
4.this continues until i turn it off


everything is clean inside
i have applied the thermal compound about 5 minutes ago
i dont know what i need to do or why it does this as me and my family are fucking clueless
it is a custom computer

can you help cuz i really need it.....

You broke something. If it was just overheating, it would at least post then turn off to protect itself. Read the manual of your motherboard/case to find out what the beeps mean.

Get AS5, and get a new cpu cooler.

Then get better casefans. lol
