The problem is, that whenever i play a downloaded movie from the pirate bay or other torrents. The sound won't come up, why? I have downloaded an ac3 filter and still not working.

Could be many reasons...

1) Bad speakers
2) Corrupt File
3) Bad torrent
4) Need Codecs...

and many more.

What format is the file your trying to play? is it avi, mpeg, wmv?
Also you can try to dowload vlc player because that doesnt use your systems codecs to play a file.

It also doesn't do things quickly (ie. pause).
CCCP/MPC is better, I usually skip out on installing Zoom player with it, though.

I had this problem because some codecs were missing so yeah get new codecs i use FFDFShow (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow).. but it could also be your sound drivers so you might want to check that out too....I think its codecs so try that FFDFShow codec i gave you, you gotta reboot your pc after you install them.
