I clicked sign in one day and it couldn't connect. Now I can't view the ooVoo website, like it gives me a blank page or website suggestions. And I can not video chat sing AIM or join an AIM chatroom. Any ideas or input on how to fix this?

UPDATE: Now I can't update my anti-virus software or install windows updates.

UPDATE: all problems seem to consist of not being able to connect to a server of some kind. EX: ooVoo server, Windows update server.

UPDATE: ooVoo said check if you are connected to the internet....

All programs are allowed through my firewall, and my firewall isn't even on.

System restore ?
Full system scan ?
That seems unusual.

This happened to me.. and i was so peeved.

What anti-virus are you using?

Anyway... Go to internet explorer (NOT FIREFOX OR ANYTHING ELSE)

go to tools, click internet options -> connections -> LAN settings and Automatically detect settings should be checked, However, (use a proxy server for your LAN) should NOT be checked. If its not checked already, i have no idea.

Those settings shouldn't of even been messed with in the first place.
Anyways, on a offtopic behalf...

Another Microsoft failure.
/gg Bill Gates.
We should all consider making a new OS called Bricks, or the Cherry.
=/
