|
|
Well a while back I was playing around in the command prompt and I accidentally made a second Admin account aside from my usual one. The problem is it was set as a head admin as is this account and I want to get rid of it but user removal doesn't work since it is an Admin. I'm running a Vista so how do I get rid of this extra un-needed account wasting my memory.

there is a high possibility that you will not get rid of that account, vista is just that kinda of a nuisance however you could try
right click cmd
run as administrator
type net user admin /delete
this is assuming the new account is called admin
hope that works
also try it on safe mode, i don't really use vista so i dunno.
the account shouldn't be using any memory on your computer, unless you logged into it.
if that's the case try
right click my computer
go to properties
go to advanced tab
press settings at user profiles
delete the admin profile
then hide the account
using the net user admin /active:no
in command line same as above

Just go to the command prompt (As an administrator) and type this in:
Code: | net user administrator /active:no |
|
