It seems like a good monitor. The only thing i don't like is the response time. My monitor is 2ms, which is lovely.

thats apretty nice monitor! and nice price! but if you want a better monitor. Widescreen. But its m2 5000 :1 so think about it. Free shipping and its HD monitor.

xlnoob is just being biased. 5ms is perfectly fine, there is no substantial or significance of difference between 5ms and 2ms.

Well I have an Ares and there is a red dead pixel on the center of my
screen. The brand is European so idk.
The responce time is also not the best. Other then that...

Most LCD monitors labeled featuring a 2ms response time are actually only capable of a 5ms response time in real-world usage; the 2ms response time is the monitor's gray-to-gray speed. 5ms should be fast enough for lag-less game play.

As far as contrast goes, read the static contrast ratio. Usually 1000:1 or 2000:1 static provides good contrast.
