Ok all you people whine that the new AMD's are so damn good.
But their work isn't even finnished, just released to early once again.

They got memory leak when using more then 2 ram sticks @ 1333mHz or higher.

This means if your going to use more then 2 ram sticks with AMD you have to UNDERCLOCK them to 1066mHz or less.

Otherwise you will get alot of crashes.

Yes ofc, the new AMD's are good but I would never buy an unstable motherboard.

Remember this is only for the AM3+ motherboards, the old AM2+ that works with the new CPU's still works just fine. But those are DDR2 only.

According to some sources it said AMD was suppose to delay their Phenom II, but couldn't afford to lose market share so they shipped it out early, thus the use with DDR2.

Real AM3+ will be out on DDR3.

As the boards are not out yet, let's hope they make that fix as a top priority.

Crap it's too late

The AM3+ boards are already out, if you didn't know.

Something tells me you don't understand what a memory leak is...

I wasn't referring to your post, but rather the OP

should have quoted to clarify.

I think I'll live, seeing as I think memory bandwidth is the least significant bottleneck. 99% of the population won't know the difference.

Yeah, I hate a company that rushes a flawed product (lolxbawksthreesixty), but for most people this doesn't matter.

Yes only overclocking will be affected.

And this is only for AM3+ as I said.

don't all AMD CPUs worth buying have unlocked multipliers anyway?
also, it's not like Intel are perfect either, instead of fixing their problem with RAM only being able to go to 1.65v on i7 CPUs they've let the RAM manufacturers work around it.

OMG! I can't run DDR3 @ 1333. Gasp. DDR3 is a joke until prices come down to $20/GB.
