Hey,
Currently I'm running a Ati Radeon HD 2400 Pro video card which sucks like dog dick...
I'm currently In need of a Video Card and thinking of playing games on it....
Mainly CSS
Don't ask which games...
I want to know what's the best...
These are Aussie Prices BTW
512Mb 4650 Asus $95
1Gb 4650 Gigabyte $113
512 4670 Gigabyte $124
1GB 9500GT Asus $116
512mb 9600gt MSI $139
What do you guys recommend?
I'm currently leaning towards the 1GB 4650...

The 9600GT edges ahead the HD 4670 across the board, especially at higher resolutions where the HD 4670's 128-bit memory interface becomes a major bottleneck.

If we're speaking solely in terms of performance, the 9600GT is more expensively priced for a reason.

Neither. Get an 8800/9800 GT or a 4830/4850. They're only 40% more expensive than the 4670.

The performance boost from 9800GT to a 4850 is not that huge to pay 40% more.
Also, the 9600GT has worked fine for me,
but I recommend getting the 4670..

Flyte you know the ATI HD 4870x2 is very expensive.
Look at the other prices he has. Is it even close to 4870 x2?

I don't really know alot about video cards :/ i still thinking about the 4830. Like they say you get what you pay for. Also go check out the specs of those two cards you picked and compare there specs side by side.

I personally own two ATI HD 4850s in crossfire, wasn't that expensive. If you think that is expensive, I would love to see your face when you pay for a months worth of food when you get out of school.
