Okay well I've started to use utorrent now and port forwarded it and configured some settings to make it faster

so i guess im getting maybe 50kb/100kb average??? But in between for like 2-5 mins it would spike to like over 300Kb
Im wondering why is this happening and maybe I can make it stay at that speed? Razz

anyone have some good tips to increase it faaster even more ?

The seeders and leechers connected to you are the main factors. Other "optimization" methods usually don't help increase your download speeds by much. It's just how P2P works.

Hmm darn now its only showing 0.1 to 7kb/s
and the seeders and leechers were the samee

your download speed is only affected by how many seeders you have. the more the better.

Not just seeders, but you're right.
Speeds of torrents are temperamental, at best.

Hmm got a constant speed of 300-400kb for about 20mins!

This is wrong... A piece of your speed from torrents is sacrificed from downloading (instead of 100 percent downloading) and used for uploading...

So leechers download more than upload, though they DO still upload.
