I little while ago I was working on my other Vista Machine and noticed how some games don't register in DEP. Meaning = they don't work with having DEP on them.

So if you having any problems with games + Vista...this is what you do.

1. System Properties
2. Advanced Settings > Properties
3. You will see a DEP area > Simple browse to the location in the C:\ or Programs folder
4. Done!

Thanks for the guide, although I haven't yet encountered the problem with my rig.

Rightclick on the .exe > Properties > Compatibility > Run it with XP SP2. Thing works the same. A friend of mine told me that Run as Admin also works.

Is this one of the things that running in compatibility mode changes? That would make sense, since games (even older ones like Diablo) work under compatibility for XP/earlier.
